We want our products to be the last set of suspension you purchase for your car, period. High quality materials and coatings are used in Annex Suspension Group products to help achieve this goal.

Further Talking Points to be expanded later:

Strength and Service Life – All of our shock bodies start as a high strength carbon steel extrusion. Each cylinder is machined to a very tight tolerance before being subject to a series of QC processes including a final visual inspection by a dedicated technician. This rigorous testing ensures a long service life and repeatable shock performance, mile after mile. [Insert photos of bare cylinders]
Superior Corrosion Resistance - All of our shock bodies are extremely durable against corrosion in the worst of environmental conditions. Several types of coatings were tested until a process that met our standards was finally selected.   3 different types of different nickel coatings and a final chromium sealant layer ensure that all of our shock bodies can withstand the harshest of environments. In addition, the Nickel-chromium finish is not prone to damaging electrolysis, which is a leading cause of seized spring perches on typical coilover systems. The result is a shock body that will always remain easy to adjust and will help to protect the spring perches from damage that results from corrosion build up of the threads on and off the track. Exceptional corrosion resistance
Enhanced durability
Long lasting aesthetic appeal
Protection for lock rings and shock body threads
Eliminates risk of frozen lock rings due to electrolysis

    Real-World Tested &
    Track Proven

ClubSpec Pro™

Building off of the success of FastRaod Pro™, we introduced ClubSpec Pro™, a product for a more dedicated track enthusiast. ClubSpec Pro™ is targeted towards club racers or those that primarily use their car for more competitive events. However, care is still taken to ensure that the product is still street able is the driver can accept spring rate and valving designed to work with the stickiest of tires available. Despite its race-winning pedigree, road manners are still considered. It may not be your significant other's favorite car, but we still want the drive to and from the track to be as enjoyable as possible.

Many of the same development principles from FastRoad Pro™ carry over to this product and maximize stroke, careful per-vehicle valving, and using sophisticated sensors to measure the suspension's movements as often as 500 times a second. A great deal of attention is spent on enhancing the suspension's performance over berms at the track and optimizing the vehicle's responses to driver inputs and transitional speed.

A majority of our research and development was performed by working closely with our team drivers and attending racing activities to support them. Many aspects of our coilover design were directly influenced by testing at tracks like Laguna Seca or Thunderhill Raceway, which has led to numerous new lap time records set by our team drivers on ClubSpec Pros™.

Hard Anodized Type III Lock Rings

ClubSpec Pro™ lock rings go through a deep sulfuric anodization process that results in the vibrant red color and finish seen on our products. This anodized coating will help avoid damage from frequent ride height changes, corner balancing, alignments, heat from heavy brake use, and additive corrosion benefits for harsher environments. These details improve the longevity, and ultimate performance of this race bred suspension.

Swift Springs

We chose Swift Springs for our ClubSpec Pro™ products to maximize performance and reliability. Swift Springs has been in the industry for over 22 years and quickly became one of the most recognized and respected names in performance coil springs and many in motorsports genres worldwide. We offer various springs rate options and can help you select the perfect set up based on your vehicles specifications and driver needs.

Annex Helper Springs and
Extended Shock Bodies

ClubSpec Pro™ uses helper springs and extended shock bodies on all four corners to maximize droop, stroke, and grip over various track surfaces. It is essential to use helper springs on a race-prepared suspension to help the car put the power down on corner exit.

Proprietary Double Digressive Race Pistons
and Valving Profiles

We use in-house double digressive race pistons and valving profiles that have been spec'd for every chassis. Over the course of a year, the race valving was tested at local race tracks with plenty of large bumps and berms. This feedback is crucial because a lesser suspension can work on a smooth track, but the deficiencies will become more pronounced when being raced on a bumpy track.

Each set of Annex coilovers are hand-built, shim by shim, by a team of experts using tight tolerance parts in-house. Contact us if you'd like to request custom valving for your ClubSpec Pro's™.

AMSOIL Shock Fluid

We only want the best for our products, which is why we chose AMSOIL high-grade shock fluid for our ClubSpec Pro line. The highly respected brand specializes in developing synthetic lubricants that offer innovative answers to the greatest challenges vehicles and equipment present. AMSOIL synthetic lubricants' have performed extraordinarily in a range of markets – automotive, power sports, industrial, racing, and more.

Product Specifications

Rebound Adjustable

Every application is developed on a a per chassis bassis. No off the shelf generic valving. The single adjustable knob has a full sweep of 24 clicks.

Monotube with High Pressure Nitrogen Gas

A racing proven design perfected for everyday use. Keeps shocks running cool whether on a long trip or hot lapping on track.

24 Levels Damper Adjustable

A total of 24 points of damping adjustment allow the driver to adjust internal bleed for smooth tracks like Laguna Seca or COTA, or for bumps and ripples at tracks like ButtonWillow Raceway.

Special Design Lock Rings and Adjustment Knobs

What you touch matters, and needs to be reliable! With positively locking surfaces and rounded and radiused edges, we have removed excess weight (while maintaining strength) and kept it hand adjustment friendly.

5W Speical Italian Damper Oil

What’s on the inside counts, especially when it is the life blood of your suspension! We compared several suppliers and chose this oil specifically for it’s thermal dissipation properties and resistance to cavitation.

1 Year Manufacture Warranty

If there is any kind of defect in our product, contact us via Email so we can resolve it and get you back on the road ASAP.

NVH Isolators

No compromise on performance, just major gains in sound damping and comfort. We use a specifically selected material at a calculated thickness and durometer to achieve this, which is the similar to a concept used in OEM parts on high end luxury vehicles

Nickle Plated Shock Body

We chose to use a nickel plated shock body for superior corrosion resistance compared to paint or powder coating. Resists rust, and wipes clean without chipping or peeling,.

Radial Bearings

Our upper spring seat perch has an integrated Koyo bearing for higher steering precision and better feedback. As a bonus it also reduces spring noise and improves steering feel.

T6 6061 Aluminum Mounts and Camber Plates

Chosen for it’s strength and low weight, we’ve also opted to subject all aluminum parts to a deep sulfuric anodization process that results in the rich colors and even finish that not only looks good, but will protect the parts for years to come.

Heavy Duty Dust Boots

Not just a generic afterthought! We chose a thick and durable neoprene dust boots to better protect the shock shafts from scrapes and bruises. Further enhancing the longevity of the internal shaft seals and damper oil.

Rebuildable and Revalveable in the U.S.A

We are USA based motorsports enthusiasts. Our services cover everything from custom valving to servicing, or Swift spring upgrades and race specific builds. All of it can be done in our California based service center.

Let the Numbers
Speak for Themselves

ClubSpec Pro™ is targeted towards club racers or those who primarily use their cars for competitive events. We spend countless hours at the track working closely with our test drivers like Joshua Garcia and his Global Time Attack AE86 with ClubSpec Pros. This same suspension helped reduce his lap time at The Circuit of the Americas by 7 seconds compared to his previous setup!
